Stan is a North Carolina writer, member of the Dramatists' Guild, former Wisconsinite, certified pizza and hoagie maker, ordained minister, hippie drum circle aficionado and recovering actor.
Places that have affected Stan profoundly: State Street in Madison, Wisconsin; The Mormon Tabernacle in Salt Lake City, Utah; the Cathedral of St Frances in Assisi, Italy; Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre in Grand Lake, Colorado; Camp Christikon near Big Timber, Montana; NYCFringe in New York, and places in Minneapolis/St. Paul too numerous to mention.
Stan is a big sci-fi and Ren-fest geek. He likes to write about religion and mythology. He records novelty songs and spends far too much of his time on FaceBook.
He likes nearly all movies, television and music, but is a vocal fan of Quentin Tarantino, Joss Whedon, Carl Sagan, the Beatles, Star Wars, Star Trek, Lost and Project Runway, and Dancing with the Stars. He is not ashamed of this, nor the fact that he reads very little, though he is a big fan of Cosmos, the Bible, All My Best Friends by George Burns, and anything written by Joseph Campbell.
